With more than 20 years experience as a casting director, Tom founded Thomas Adams Casting in 2015. Working closely with directors, producers and talent agents, he brings extensive experience and a strong instinct for finding the right person for each role.

He is passionate about encouraging diversity on screen and experienced at finding and nurturing new faces from all sides of the social spectrum. Sometimes this means street casting in the unlikeliest places; at other times, it’s about working with trusted agents to cast outside the box.

Tom’s long-standing relationships with agents provide an extended network of talent of all kinds, including actors, models, presenters, dancers, brand ambassadors, voice over artists and children.

Combining expert industry knowledge and a highly collaborative approach, Tom and his team work to understand the unique alchemy of each project: not just the script but the complexities of budget, location, timing and other restrictions in a constantly changing world.

The team has cast major commercial campaigns for brands including Haribo, Mercedes, TRESemmé, Snapple, McCain and the Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter, alongside large-scale government initiatives and high-profile sporting projects.

In 2025, a TAC-cast feature film, Row, won Best UK Feature Film at the Raindance Film Festival, while the CALM suicide prevention campaign This is Not A Drill received the CDA Award for Best Casting of a Charity/Public Awareness Commercial.

Today, Thomas Adams Casting continues to work across a broad range of media, from commercials and short-form content to feature films, connecting productions with the right talent for every brief.
